As many of you know, I am putting in my reps to get better and better at bag making. These bags are finally building up in my workspace and I have too many to appreciate by myself. For anyone interested in supporting this journey, I am making my latest build , this perfectly imperfect bookbag available for purchase. 

I came to really love this design and tweaked it over time in several iterations. I was seeking a backpack that that is simple, looks casual but smart, not too serious, but does all the things I want it to. Loving the classic bookbag silhouette, I updated it with key features that I feel make this a 1:1. What makes this bag perfect to me is:

1. Me sized (about 18" in height)
2. Dual stretch Bottle pockets
3. Smart internal org (molle, laptop, drop pockets, mesh pocket)
4. Quick access pocket, with pocketing that gets out of the way of the interior when you want it to
5. Curved straps
6. Stands on it's own!

This is not without issues, and these issues may or may not bother you.

1. Quality - this is in the eye of the beholder. I am a maker in training, I make mistakes. That said, I am incredibly proud of this bag, one of the best I have made!
2. Breathabiity of back panel - I am not a fan of mesh, and will tend to build my bags without it
3. Stiffness - doesn't bother me, but to those who have high expectation, reset them!

• A white VX21 exterior, with silverado ultrastretch interior lining. This bag has EVA foam back padding, harness, and foam bottom.
• YKK #8 Reverse Coil zips, Black matte half zips 
• Ultrastretch dual water bottle pockets
• Interior has mesh zip pocket and dual ultrastretch drop pockets
• Padded laptop sleeve 
• MOLLE system on the top back panel
• Quick access pocket and front 3d pocket
